The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strengthened its political foothold in Haryana by winning elections in four pivotal assembly constituencies: Dadri, Bhiwani, Tosham, and Bawani Khera. The recent campaign efforts of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav played an instrumental role in these victories.
Sunil Satpal Sangwan emerged triumphant in Dadri by a margin of 1,957 votes, while Ghanshyam Saraf won in Bhiwani with a wide margin of 32,714 votes. In Tosham, Shruti Choudhary secured her position with a lead of 14,257 votes, and Kapoor Singh clinched his win in Bawani Khera by 21,779 votes. Additionally, in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba constituency, BJP candidate Surjeet Singh Slathia won with a margin of 30,309 votes, further showcasing the BJP's expanding influence.
According to the Election Commission of India, the BJP secured 48 out of 90 seats in Haryana's assembly, with Congress winning 36. In Jammu and Kashmir, the JKNC led with 42 seats, followed by BJP's 29. Madhya Pradesh CM Yadav extended gratitude to Haryana's electorate and BJP supporters for their crucial role in this electoral success.
