In the wake of a significant electoral victory in the Haryana Assembly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi levied strong accusations against the Congress party on Wednesday, asserting that their politics aim to fragment Hindu society for electoral benefit. Modi virtually inaugurated several development projects in Maharashtra, valued at over Rs 7600 crore.
During the online address, PM Modi reflected on the recent election outcomes in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir, interpreting them as a reflection of nationwide sentiment. "Being elected for a third consecutive term is historic," he stated, accusing Congress of manipulating caste divisions among Hindus for political advantage. Modi criticized Congress for their divisive electoral tactics across India.
The Prime Minister accused Congress of attempting to mislead diverse demographics, including Dalits, farmers, and the youth, but asserted that these efforts were unsuccessful. "Congress and its urban Naxal allies have tried to deceive the public, but their conspiracies have failed," he declared. He credited the Dalit community with seeing through Congress's intentions to disrupt their unity and reservation benefits.
Highlighting the success of BJP’s policies for farmers, PM Modi said, "Haryana's Dalit community has supported BJP overwhelmingly, as has the OBC community, thanks to the party's developmental initiatives." He noted that Congress had provoked farmers, but they recognized BJP's contributions to their welfare through minimum support prices on crops. He added that Haryana's youth also trust BJP for a better future.
Further, the Prime Minister congratulated Maharashtra on the new development projects. "Maharashtra receives 10 new medical colleges today," he announced, noting infrastructure projects at Nagpur and Shirdi airports. "I congratulate all of Maharashtra's citizens for these developmental advancements," he said.
Modi criticized Congress for historical corruption, contrasting it with BJP's development record. "Maharashtra’s rapid, large-scale development is unprecedented, starkly different from the Congress era's corruption scale," he stated.
The Prime Minister also celebrated the designation of Marathi as a Classical Language. "Recently, Marathi was acknowledged as an elite language, realizing a long-held dream for many," he remarked, sharing messages of gratitude received from across Maharashtra.
