This agreement signifies the government's latest effort to optimize its energy sector expenditures and enhance economic stability. Sharif noted that the revised terms will abolish previous, expensive power purchase agreements.
This move aligns with broader fiscal policies aimed at reducing national debt and boosting economic performance in the energy sector. The currency exchange is calculated at $1 equating to 277.6500 Pakistani rupees.
