Banna Gupta, the Congress candidate for the Jamshedpur West Assembly constituency, has articulated a robust plan focused on improving the area's infrastructure, healthcare, education, and safety. Following his nomination, Gupta expressed profound gratitude to those who supported his candidacy, particularly acknowledging the trust placed in him by his district and higher party echelons. He vowed to serve the people of Jamshedpur with integrity and vigor.

Among Gupta's foremost objectives is completing the construction of a significant flyover in Jamshedpur, sanctioned a budget of Rs 471 crore. He emphasized the urgent need to expedite the project's progress and inauguration, marking it as a top priority. Additionally, Gupta is committed to the advancement of a super-specialist hospital with 600 beds, funded Rs 434 crore, while ensuring the seamless operation of another 851-bed medical facility in Mango.

In his educational pursuits, Gupta has earmarked Rs 33 crore for establishing a law university at a corporate college, with a vision to make Jamshedpur an educational nucleus. He also plans to boost skill development for local youth and women through collaborations with Tata Steel. This agenda comes amid the Congress's release of its candidates for the Jharkhand polls, where Gupta and others, including state ministers, prepare for the elections scheduled for November 13 and 20.
