The Election Commission has taken action by sending notices to Punjab Congress chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring and BJP's Manpreet Singh Badal, citing alleged breaches of the Model Code of Conduct.
Officials from the Gidderbaha returning office in Muktsar revealed that these notices demand responses from both political leaders regarding their respective alleged violations.
Warring reportedly held a political meeting at a mosque, while a viral video shows Badal allegedly discussing job recruitment influence, sparking complaints and controversy ahead of the Gidderbaha bypolls on November 20.
