Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress members staged a protest on Monday against BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri, reacting strongly to his derogatory remarks about Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
The protest, led by Youth Congress chief Akshay Lakra, involved demonstrators carrying placards, raising slogans, and spraying black paint on the nameplate outside Bidhuri's residence in central Delhi.
Labelling Bidhuri as 'anti-women', the youth activists demanded an apology, citing his repeated use of offensive language. Lakra emphasized that the protests would persist until Bidhuri apologized for his comments likening areas of his constituency to Gandhi's ''cheeks'' if elected.
