External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar engaged in key geopolitical discussions during the G20 Foreign Ministers Meeting in Johannesburg, focusing on Indo-Pacific cooperation with Australia and France. He also held talks with EU representatives on India-EU relations and engaged with his Chinese, Angolan, Algerian, and Irish counterparts on regional and multilateral issues.

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar tackled significant geopolitical challenges during the G20 Foreign Ministers Meeting in Johannesburg. His discussions primarily revolved around Indo-Pacific issues alongside Australian and French counterparts, Penny Wong and Jean-Noel Barrot.

In a productive meeting with European Union Vice President Kaja Kallas, Jaishankar covered critical areas of India-EU collaboration, including trade and security, with a special focus on the ongoing Ukraine conflict. He expressed optimism towards welcoming further EU engagement in India soon.

Jaishankar's diplomatic engagements didn't stop there. He discussed Sino-India relations with China’s Wang Yi and explored bilateral cooperation with Angola’s Tete Antonio. Conversations also spanned regions such as West Asia with Algeria’s Ahmed Attaf and potential collaborations with Ireland’s Simon Harris.
