Controversy Erupts Over Development Stalls in Himachal Pradesh

J R Katwal, a BJP MLA from Himachal Pradesh, accused the Congress government of obstructing development projects in constituencies of BJP legislators. Controversy has arisen in Himachal Pradesh as J R Katwal, a BJP MLA from the Jhanduta assembly, has publicly accused the Congress government of halting development activities in BJP-led constituencies.

He elaborated that ongoing projects are being disrupted without provision for new initiatives, a move he claims causes significant public dissatisfaction. Meanwhile, Katwal highlighted the importance of infrastructure, particularly roads, in regional development, underscoring Prime Minister Modi's vision of connecting villages to drive national progress.

He pointed to the party's meritocratic approach, contrasting it with what he depicted as nepotism in opposition ranks, as seen in the recent appointment of Rekha Gupta as Delhi's Chief Minister.
