Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya undertook a visit to assess key institutions, stressing the government's dedication to worker welfare and sports development. During his visit, Mandaviya reviewed ongoing initiatives at the Labour Bureau and Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Model Hospital, engaging with stakeholders on critical data-driven governance strategies.
At the Labour Bureau, Mandaviya focused on enhancing decision-making processes through effective use of labour statistics, playing a pivotal role in service delivery and governance. Following this, he inspected the ESIC Model Hospital facilities to ensure quality healthcare services for workers, reinforcing the government's commitment to their well-being.
The Union Minister also led strategic discussions on sports infrastructure development with officials from Punjab, Chandigarh, and the Sports Authority of India. Lauding initiatives like Khelo India, Mandaviya expressed the ministry's intent to cultivate young athletic talent, which was underscored by him awarding commendations to athletes excelling in national and international tournaments.
