Union Minister Ramdas Athawale accused Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of disrespecting the Hindu community by skipping the Maha Kumbh.

Athawale, a prominent Dalit leader, argued that despite Thackeray's Hindutva rhetoric, his absence at the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj was a slight against Hindu beliefs.

Citing recent electoral trends, Athawale urged Hindu voters to withdraw support from leaders like Thackeray and Gandhi, who he claims ignore Hindu sentiments for political gain.
