In a politically charged revelation, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report has amplified tensions in Delhi's political landscape. BJP leader Nalin Kohli criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), alleging corruption over its decade-long rule, citing the report's findings pointing to administrative and financial mismanagement.

Kohli accused AAP of evading transparency, expressing that the CAG report confirmed their policies were detrimental to Delhi's populace, diverting public funds, and harboring corruption. Reacting to AAP's governance, he highlighted that the people have rejected their model in favor of Prime Minister Modi's developmental mandate.

Conversely, AAP leader Atishi defended the Arvind Kejriwal-led government, arguing that the reported excise policy flaws had already been exposed by AAP. At a press conference, Atishi alleged financial losses due to illicit liquor activities under the old policy while demonstrating against being barred entry into the Vidhan Sabha premises.
