The Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW), a recent political entry in Germany, has taken legal action against the results of the national election. The party, which gained 4.97% of the vote, contends that misallocated votes prevented it from reaching the 5% threshold needed to enter parliament.

On Monday, the party filed a complaint with the constitutional court, seeking to investigate and rectify alleged inaccuracies in the vote count. BSW's leader, Sahra Wagenknecht, expressed concerns that thousands of votes were wrongly assigned or invalidated, according to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ).

Wagenknecht stressed the importance of respecting voter intent and called for meticulous examination and correction of potential errors deemed significant enough to affect the democratic process.
