China has urged India and Pakistan to exercise the utmost restraint to maintain regional peace and stability amidst rising military tensions. This comes after India conducted missile strikes on terror targets in Pakistan as retaliation for the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
Responding to the unfolding situation, China's Foreign Ministry emphasized that both India and Pakistan are neighbors of China. The ministry condemned terrorism in all its forms and expressed China's readiness to work with the international community to ease tensions.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian stated China's commitment to playing a constructive role and hoped both nations would resolve differences through dialogue. China, maintaining diplomatic ties with Pakistan, has called for restraint and an impartial investigation into the terrorist attack.
