In a heartfelt gesture, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar extended condolences to the family of BSF jawan Ram Babu Singh, who tragically passed away following injuries sustained from cross-border firing in Jammu and Kashmir.
The fallen soldier, a native of Siwan district, will be honored posthumously with an ex-gratia of Rs 50 lakh to his next of kin, underscoring the state's recognition of his sacrifice.
The late Singh, who had married only months ago, will receive full state honors during his last rites at his ancestral village, an occasion that marks a somber tribute to his commitment and valor.
