Man Arrested for Defaming Chief Minister on Social Media
A man named Sanjay Bharti was arrested for posting objectionable comments against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Facebook. The arrest followed a complaint by Moti Chandra Gupta. Bharti is charged under the IT Act and certain sections of the BNS, according to police.

A man was arrested for allegedly making inappropriate comments about Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on a social media platform, police reported Thursday.
Sanjay Bharti, from Paligara village, is accused of using abusive language against Adityanath on Facebook, according to the authorities. The complaint was filed by Moti Chandra Gupta.
Kripa Shankar, the Additional Superintendent of Police, confirmed Bharti's arrest and stated that he has been charged under relevant laws, including Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, and has been sent to jail.
