President Donald Trump has announced that the United States is set to implement tariffs ranging between 15% and 20% on nations that do not successfully negotiate trade agreements with Washington. Trump made this statement while meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at his golf resort in Turnberry, Scotland.

Speaking to reporters, Trump mentioned that the tariffs are likely to fall within that specific range. He indicated that notifications would soon be sent to approximately 200 countries, detailing their expected tariff rates on exports to the U.S.

Previously, in April, Trump enforced an extra 10% tariff on many countries, with additional increases planned from August 1. These measures are part of the administration's broader strategy to adjust trade relationships globally.
