At a high-profile conclave on constitutional challenges, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi vocally rejected any ideas about kingship, stating that he fully opposes the concept.
During his speech, the gathering at Vigyan Bhawan rallied with chants advocating for Gandhi's kingship. However, he quickly clarified his stance, insisting he neither is nor desires to be a king.
Gandhi has previously taken jabs at Prime Minister Narendra Modi by using similar 'royal' references, accusing him of ignoring public concerns.
