Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin unveiled the State Education Policy on Thursday, catering to the state's unique character and affirming a two-language policy. Speaking at Anna Centenary Library Auditorium, Stalin emphasized fostering critical thinking, physical education, and educational equity over rote learning.

Highlighting transformative ambitions, the SEP will integrate smart classes to ensure inclusive education. "Our goal is universal education," Stalin remarked, underscoring the importance of nurturing rational thought among students.

The Tamil Nadu government, opposing the National Education Policy, asserts autonomous educational standards. With the current higher education admission rate at 75%, Stalin aims for 100%, aligning with the Dravidian model's vision. The state's plea in the Supreme Court challenges NEP's compulsory adoption, seeking educational justice.
