Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri arrived in Nepal on Sunday for a concise yet strategic two-day official visit.
Initiated at the invitation of Nepalese Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, Misri will consult with top Nepalese officials, including President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli.
His visit mainly aims to set the stage for Prime Minister Oli's anticipated trip to India, scheduled around mid-September.
