In a pointed critique, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi on Tuesday accused the Congress of being closely aligned with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She labeled Congress the BJP's 'A-plus team,' urging Rahul Gandhi to sever any perceived ties if he truly aims to challenge the ruling party.
Talking to PTI in Goa, Atishi highlighted how AAP leaders were imprisoned without monetary recovery, whereas senior Congress figures have faced no similar repercussions in notorious cases like the National Herald or the Commonwealth Games scam. She stated that this discrepancy indicates Congress's collusion with BJP.
Atishi further criticized Congress for betraying partners in the INDIA bloc and detailed instances in Gujarat and Goa where Congress's actions, according to her, allowed BJP to gain. She firmly asserted that AAP would not ally with Congress, criticizing its high-command governance structure and its lack of reciprocation in political support.
