Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday leveled strong accusations against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, describing his recent rhetoric as resembling that of an 'urban Maoist'.
Fadnavis claimed that Gandhi had called upon Generation Z to dismantle a democratically elected government, asserting that the Congress leader does not subscribe to the principles of the Constitution and has a disregard for established institutions. He further alleged that Gandhi's advisors exhibit a similar 'urban Maoist' mindset.
This fiery exchange follows Gandhi's renewed criticism of the Election Commission of India and his rallying call to the youth and students to safeguard the democratic process. Fadnavis dismissed Gandhi's 'vote theft' allegations as baseless, pointing to the initiatives and technological prowess of India's Gen Z.
