Itanagar, Sep 22 (PTI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Arunachal Pradesh was celebrated as a historic event by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, marking significant advancements in the state's infrastructure and economy.
Addressing a public meeting at Indira Gandhi Park on Monday, Rijiju illustrated the transformation of Arunachal Pradesh over the past decade with advancements in connectivity, including the establishment of an airport, railway lines, and national highways. He attributed this progress to Modi's leadership and frequent visits, further uplifting the state's development trajectory.
The visit coincided with the auspicious occasion of Navratri and the launch of the next-generation GST reforms aimed at benefiting crores of impoverished Indians. Rijiju extolled the communal celebration of these reforms, which will be promoted across villages to maximize their impact.
