In a bold political move, the Congress on Thursday presented a detailed 'charge-sheet' against the Nitish Kumar government, alleging two decades of setbacks across various growth sectors under NDA rule in Bihar.
The report, titled 'Bees Saal Vinaash Kaal', was unveiled at Sadaqat Ashram by top Congress leaders. AICC general secretary Jairam Ramesh accused the state administration of thriving on corruption and being manipulated by external forces from Delhi and Nagpur.
The charge-sheet claims Bihar's progress in health, education, and employment generation has stagnated, with crime on the rise. Ramesh criticized BJP's resistance to social justice and noted a lack of protection for caste quotas, suggesting wider implications for the upcoming election.
