Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized his government's support for Punjab's flood-affected farmers by sending 1,000 quintals of wheat seeds. The announcement was made during a special program aimed at aiding those impacted by the natural disaster.
Adityanath highlighted the significant disruption caused by floods in Punjab, particularly affecting seed storage and agricultural operations. He underscored the wheat seeds' quality, which is expected to yield up to 80 quintals per hectare and mature in 155 days, thanking the Agriculture and Seed Departments for their swift actions.
The Chief Minister also paid homage to Harvinder Sahib Govind on his birth anniversary, praising his dedication to public welfare. Furthermore, Adityanath recalled past relief measures that aided Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, drawing attention to the high-quality seeds now being sent to Punjab's farmers amidst ongoing challenges.
