Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Stands Firm Against Voter List Revision

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has announced that her party will oppose the Special Intensive Revision of voter lists in Kerala. She criticizes the Election Commission's plan, citing past implementations in Bihar as undermining democracy. Gandhara is visiting her constituency to inaugurate development projects.

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra declared on Wednesday that the party will resist the implementation of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists in Kerala, reiterating a similar stance taken earlier in Parliament.

Responding to the Election Commission's plan to conduct SIR in several states, including Kerala, Gandhi Vadra expressed strong opposition, highlighting concerns over how the process was previously executed in Bihar.

She emphasized that the procedure poses risks to democratic principles, labeling it as a method of electoral fraud. Currently on a visit to Wayanad, Gandhi Vadra is overseeing the inauguration of development projects in her constituency.
