Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has confidently voiced his support for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the forthcoming Bihar assembly elections. He highlighted the formidable influence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing him as having a 'towering Himalayan personality.' Baba Ramdev conveyed his thoughts in an interview with ANI on Sunday.
During the interview, Baba Ramdev noted the fierce competition between the ruling and opposition parties in Bihar. 'Such contests,' he said, 'reflect the beauty of democracy.' Voting is scheduled for November 6 and 11, with the counting of votes slated for November 14.
To galvanize the NDA's campaign, Prime Minister Modi will conduct election rallies in Ara and Nalanda, alongside a roadshow in Patna. The Mahagathbandhan, led by the Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress, offers a manifesto promising government jobs, while the NDA pledges one crore jobs in their manifesto. The election battle is intensifying as Bihar prepares for its 243-seat assembly contest.
