Union Minister Giriraj Singh dismissed any speculation about a change in Bihar's leadership, confidently stating that Nitish Kumar is set to continue as the Chief Minister. Speaking at the India International Trade Fair, Singh expressed his unwavering belief in Kumar's leadership following the NDA's recent electoral victory.
Amidst circulating confusion over the chief ministerial position, Singh, who serves as the Union Textiles Minister and represents the Begusarai Lok Sabha constituency, assured that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) adheres to a structured procedure for affirming leadership roles.
Singh highlighted that separate legislative meetings of the BJP and JD(U) will precede a joint NDA assembly to officially decide the state's head. However, he emphasized, there is little doubt within party circles that Nitish Kumar will continue to lead Bihar.
