The Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajasthan in-charge, Radha Mohan Das Agarwal, asserted the impartiality of Indian elections following the party's defeat in the Anta Assembly by-election, signaling electoral fairness despite BJP's governance at both central and state levels.
Agarwal dismissed accusations made by former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot of the Congress, who claimed election manipulation. He contended such allegations were attempts to mislead the public and gain political traction.
The Anta by-election loss to Congress' Pramod Jain Bhaya, after BJP's Morpal Suman was defeated by 69,571 votes, underscored BJP's respect for democratic processes without manipulating voter lists or administrative pressure, Agarwal stated.
