In a stern address, BJP President JP Nadda accused the Congress of making extensive efforts to obliterate Sardar Patel from history. Speaking at the 'Sardar@150 Unity March', Nadda emphasized the historical neglect, suggesting the Congress's hesitation to acknowledge Patel's indispensable role in unifying India.

Nadda praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for commissioning the Statue of Unity in Gujarat as a tribute to Patel. He criticized the Congress for questioning the statue's expenses and significance, underscoring the irony given Patel's monumental contribution to India's integrity.

The BJP leader further pointed out the contrast between Patel's achievements and Jawaharlal Nehru's policies, particularly concerning Kashmir. Nadda described Article 370 as a historical blunder rectified only by Modi in 2020, marking a crucial step in strengthening national unity.
