Celebrating Excellence: Gujarat's Top Civil Officers Honored with Karmayogi Puraskar

Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], November 29 (ANI): On the final day of the 12th Chintan Shibir in Dharampur, Valsad, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel awarded the Karmayogi Puraskar to four civil officers for their exemplary service during 2024-2025. The commendations were bestowed in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi.

Recipients included Naimish Dave, former Collector of Valsad; Arvind V, former Collector of Patan; JS Prajapati, former District Development Officer of Morbi; and Milind Bapna, former District Development Officer of Anand. Each was awarded a cash prize of Rs 51,000 and a Rs 40 lakh development grant for their respective districts.

Established in 2005, the Karmayogi Puraskar aims to foster administrative dynamism and reward top-performing officials. The evaluation covers 81 KPIs for Collectors and 73 for Development Officers, based on modern administrative tools and innovative strategies. Awards are classified according to district population, with the 2024-2025 honors recognizing efforts in areas with populations over and under 15 lakh.
