In a fervent appeal, Maharashtra Congress president Harshwardhan Sapkal called for resistance against forces undermining India's Constitutional values. Stressing the importance of Dr. B R Ambedkar's vision, Sapkal highlighted the need to steer the country towards equality and justice as enshrined in the Constitution.

Sapkal paid homage to Dr. Ambedkar at 'Chaityabhoomi' in Mumbai on his death anniversary. He criticized the BJP for prioritizing projects that benefit the party and overlooking memorial developments for iconic figures like Dr. Ambedkar and Shivaji Maharaj, claiming undue delays in such initiatives.

Addressing recent controversies, Sapkal accused the BJP government of allowing private companies unchecked power, pointing to the IndiGo flight issues as a sign of the government's failure in regulation. He urged the naming of public projects to reflect local heritage and honor influential leaders.
