Kerala's political scene is heating up as Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan throws down the gauntlet to the UDF MPs, challenging them to a public debate over their parliamentary performance.

Responding to a statement by AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal, who questioned Vijayan's readiness for such a debate, the CM affirmed his willingness and urged the opposition to set a date and venue.

Vijayan criticized the UDF MPs for not advocating Kerala's development issues in Parliament and allegedly supporting the Centre against state interests. He also accused them of attempting to abolish all Antyodaya Anna Yojana ration cards in the state.
