In a bid to bolster its electoral campaign, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal is embarking on a three-day visit to Goa, where the Zilla Panchayat polls are slated for December 20.

The party's Goa president, Amit Palekar, confirmed Kejriwal's arrival, noting the leader's enthusiasm to engage with party volunteers and supporters in the region. Palekar emphasized the importance of Kejriwal's presence for energizing the campaign efforts.

AAP is vying for more than 40 out of the 50 available seats in the district-level elections, aiming to enhance its influence in Goa's Panchayati Raj system, a vital component of local governance and development coordination.
