In a strategic diplomatic move, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates, pledging deeper ties in crucial areas such as investment, oil and gas, and infrastructure development. This announcement was made by China's foreign ministry on Saturday.
Wang Yi's visit is part of a three-nation Middle Eastern tour, which commenced on Friday. The discussions took place in Abu Dhabi with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, focusing on strengthening high-level exchanges and boosting political trust.
'China is eager to fortify its relationship with the UAE,' stated Wang, underlining the goal to elevate their bilateral relations through increased cooperation in significant sectors of mutual interest.
