On the 24th anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the brave defenders who thwarted the assault. They were joined by other dignitaries in remembering the martyrs with a solemn ceremony at the now historic Parliament building.

President Droupadi Murmu echoed the nation's gratitude, stating that India remains steadfast in its commitment to eliminating terrorism in all forms. The event, marked by a 'samman guard' from CISF personnel, included a moment of silence to honor the lives lost in the line of duty.

Attendees included Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and several Union ministers. With heartfelt tributes, the nation commemorated the sacrifice of those who valiantly foiled the attack, ensuring the security of the country's democratic institutions.
