Jitendra Chaudhury, the Leader of Opposition in the Tripura Assembly, has leveled serious accusations against the ruling BJP, claiming drug trafficking within the state is being politically orchestrated.
At a recent AIDWA state conference, Chaudhury suggested that the BJP, anticipating electoral defeat through fair means, is allegedly sheltering anti-social elements engaging in drug trade to gain political ground.
The CPI(M) leader further alleged close ties between arrested individuals under the NDPS Act and the ruling party, predicting inevitable political change as public discontent rises against the current BJP-led coalition government.
