In a much-anticipated visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day tour of Assam, beginning Saturday. During his stay, Modi will inaugurate several significant projects, including an 80-feet statue of Assam's first chief minister, Gopinath Bordoloi, located at the newly constructed airport terminal named in his honor.
The Prime Minister will address a public gathering and participate in a roadshow leading to the BJP headquarters, marking a historic moment for the party in Assam. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the state's Chief Minister, expressed the significance of the visit via social media, highlighting the preparations and excitement surrounding the event.
