The Indian government has advised all nationals, including students and businesspersons, residing in Iran to depart using any available means. With more than 10,000 Indians present in the region, including a significant number of students, the government is considering both civil and military aircraft for the evacuation.
The Indian Embassy in Tehran has issued a directive urging caution, advising citizens to avoid protest zones as anti-government demonstrations intensify across Iran. US President Donald Trump has hinted at strong military responses, adding to the urgency of India's evacuation plans.
