He spent over an hour at the Secretariat submitting his clarifications to acting jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj.
Mann clarified his stance on various issues, including remarks on the 'Guru ki Golak' and conduct involving Sikh Gurus. He offered prayers at the Golden Temple before addressing the media, asserting the authority of the Akal Takht over him. He labeled the circulating videos criticizing him as AI-generated or fake.
Mann has joined a host of political figures summoned by the Akal Takht historically and stressed his respect for the Sikh institution. He submitted extensive documentation reflecting public sentiment and aberrations related to the SGPC's function and urged an investigation into social media claims while maintaining the sanctity of religious practices.
