In a scathing retort, Congress leader Udit Raj has fiercely criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for accusing the Congress party of allowing infiltrators in Assam. Udit Raj alleged that Modi's statements are rooted in untruths, claiming that the BJP-led government's failure to secure the borders has facilitated infiltration over the past decade.

Questioning the integrity of the Prime Minister, Raj emphasized, "Modi has held the reins of power for years, yet infiltrators remain a visible issue in electoral battlegrounds such as Jharkhand, Delhi, and Bihar." His critique stems from Modi's remarks during a recent address in Assam, where the Prime Minister charged Congress with jeopardizing state security for electoral gains.

In his address, Modi highlighted the declining influence of Congress, notably in Mumbai, while Udit Raj simultaneously supported Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut, condemning Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde for political manipulations. Raut's allegations of confinement of corporators in Mumbai further fueled political tensions, with accusations of the BJP's tactical maneuvers coming to the fore.
