Rajasthan Congress Accuses BJP of Electoral Manipulation

In a heated allegation, the Rajasthan Congress has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of orchestrating a fraudulent scheme to manipulate electoral rolls in their favor. The Congress party claims this move aims to disenfranchise voters supportive of the opposition.

According to Rajasthan Congress Chief Govind Singh Dotasra, the process of unlawful addition and removal of voters gained momentum after BJP's National General Secretary, B L Santosh, visited the state. Forms with reportedly forged signatures were submitted, intending to alter the voter list across constituencies where Congress holds sway.

Dotasra further alleged that pressures were being exerted on officials to accept fake forms and that substantial data was being misused. BJP has denied these claims. The Congress insists on staying vigilant to prevent any illegitimate removal of votes ahead of the finalized electoral roll publication.
