India's Strong Rebuke: Terrorism Cannot Be Normalized

During a heated exchange at the United Nations Security Council, India staunchly criticized Pakistan's continued endorsement of terrorism as a tool of state policy. India's Permanent Representative to the UN, Parvathaneni Harish, retorted against allegations made by Pakistan's UN envoy Asim Iftikhar Ahmad concerning Operation Sindoor.

In his statement, Harish denounced Pakistan's portrayal of the operation, underscoring India's commitment to safeguarding citizens and dismantling terrorist threats. Operation Sindoor was launched following a deadly attack in Pahalgam in April 2025, which resulted in 26 civilian casualties.

Harish further expressed India's frustration with Pakistan's stance on various issues, including Jammu and Kashmir and the Indus Waters Treaty, asserting India's territorial sovereignty and peace efforts despite continuous provocations.
