Ukraine Secures €85 Million for Gas Procurement
Ukraine's Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal announced a €85 million allocation through EBRD instruments for purchasing additional gas volumes for Ukraine. He also mentioned that work on obtaining a related grant from a European country is nearing completion.
Ukraine has secured €85 million ($101 million) to procure additional gas volumes, as announced by Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal on Tuesday.
This funding will be channeled through instruments developed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Shmyhal also disclosed on social platform X that securing a related grant from a European nation is nearly finalized, signaling further support for the country's energy sector.
