Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal expressed deep sorrow over the incident, tweeting his condolences to the bereaved families.
The crash occurred as Pawar, a senior Nationalist Congress Party leader, was en route to Baramati from Mumbai for campaign events related to the upcoming zilla parishad elections.
