BJP's Call for Discussion on Nehru-Gandhi Family Books Sparks Parliamentary Debate

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has called for a parliamentary discussion on 150 books detailing alleged corruption and deceit by the Nehru-Gandhi family. Amid opposition protests over an unpublished book by ex-Army chief M M Naravane, Dubey argues these books reveal significant pre-2014 historical details harmful to India.

In a recent press conference, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey demanded a parliamentary discussion on around 150 books that reportedly expose corruption and deceit associated with the Nehru-Gandhi family. Dubey argued that these publications narrate critical historical events that caused harm to the nation before 2014, when the BJP rose to power.

Dubey criticized the Congress and other opposition parties for holding Parliament "hostage" over former Army chief M M Naravane's forthcoming book. He emphasized that, according to Army guidelines, the defense ministry's approval is needed for publishing work by officers, and such permission has not been granted for Naravane's book.

Dubey urged Parliament's Speaker, Om Birla, to permit discussions on these books, claiming that a significant portion of the population remains unaware of their revelations about the Nehru-Gandhi family's ethical and moral controversies. He also called on political rivals, notably Rahul Gandhi, to adhere to procedural norms.
