On Friday, India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar engaged in significant bilateral discussions with several foreign counterparts, aiming to strengthen ties with neighboring countries like Sri Lanka and Bhutan. This diplomatic dialogue took place during the prestigious Raisina Dialogue in the capital.
In his interactions, Jaishankar underscored India's commitment to unique partnerships, notably with Bhutan, on the sidelines of the event. Additionally, he met with Sri Lankan Foreign Minister to discuss bilateral relations and regional dynamics, highlighting the importance of India's Vision MAHASAGAR and the Neighbourhood First policy.
The Raisina Dialogue, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attracts global leaders and experts to deliberate on geopolitical and geo-economic issues. Jaishankar also met with Seychelles, Rwanda, and Kenyan representatives, focusing on economic and digital cooperation, showcasing India's growing diplomatic engagements.
