Amidst political tensions, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav declared intentions to file an FIR against a song he alleges was engineered to tarnish the party's image. The development emerged as Yadav addressed a press conference at the party's state office on Saturday.

Yadav has accused the BJP government of plotting to defame the Samajwadi Party, alleging the controversial song is part of a broader campaign to smear them. The song purportedly contains lyrics suggesting hooliganism would spike if his party regained power. However, it doesn't directly connect to the BJP or the state government.

In reaction, Yadav asserted that his party would still proceed with the FIR to examine if any actions are taken against the song creators. This comes after BJP MP and Bhojpuri artist Manoj Tiwari released a similar satirical Holi song that indirectly criticized the Samajwadi Party and Yadav, who had jovially reacted to Tiwari's offering.
