Tensions Flare as Leaflet Controversy Erupts at TMC Sit-In Protest

The controversy erupted in Kolkata where Banerjee's supporters have been staging a three-day protest at Dharmatala over the SIR exercise. In response to Banerjee’s allegations, police reported detaining two individuals for distributing leaflets about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming rally.

BJP leader Rahul Sinha dismissed the accusations, suggesting that Banerjee's claims were attempts to mask the protest's low turnout. He asserted that the BJP does not need to promote its programs at TMC events, as PM Modi's rally promises to be a significant gathering.
