Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has affirmed the government's dedication to advancing the welfare of the state's farming community. Speaking at the 'Sri Parabhava Nama' Ugadi celebrations in Hyderabad, he declared that the new Telugu year is focused on improving farmers' prosperity.

Revanth Reddy highlighted efforts to make agriculture a profitable occupation, revealing that the government provides a bonus over the remunerative price. He announced the release of Rythu Bharosa funds on March 22, marking further support for agricultural livelihoods with an investment of Rs 18,000 crores.

Additionally, Reddy discussed alleviating farmers' debt by waiving farm loans up to Rs 2 lakh, leading to Telangana's distinction as the state with the lowest debt burden among farmers nationwide. He also introduced Bhu Bharati to tackle land ownership issues, replacing the problematic Dharani portal.

The Chief Minister reiterated Telangana's objective to become a frontrunner in the agricultural sector. He assured the public of the state's preparedness to address natural calamities and wished prosperity for Telangana's people during the auspicious Ugadi festival.
