Modi laid bare India's vulnerable position, given its deep trade ties with the conflict-torn region, particularly in terms of crude oil and gas imports. Emphasizing the strategic significance of the area for India's trade routes, he underscored the humanitarian and national security challenges emerging from the conflict.

With nearly one crore Indians residing in Gulf countries, Modi reiterated the urgency for a unified international response. He detailed the Indian government's extensive assistance measures for nationals stranded or affected in the region, ensuring their safe return and support during these tumultuous times.
